This Privacy Policy explains how Bonacube Oy (“we”, the “controller”) collects and uses personal data when you use Bonacube App (the “Service”). We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Finnish law.

1. Controller

2. What we collect

Account data — your name, email address, organisation, and role.
Content you create — events, storyboards, plans, budgets, notes, providers, and related planning data you enter into the Service.
Usage & technical data — log data, device/browser information, and cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service.

3. Why we process it (legal bases)

To provide the Service — performance of a contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
To secure, maintain, and improve the Service — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Where required — to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), or based on your consent where we ask for it (Art. 6(1)(a)).

4. How we share data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service (for example, our application and hosting platform), acting as our processors under appropriate agreements. Your organisation’s data is isolated so that other organisations cannot access it. Some providers may process data outside the EEA; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention is required by law. You can request deletion at any time.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact jesse@bonacube.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto).

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to authenticate you and keep your session active. The Service does not use advertising cookies.

8. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls that keep each organisation’s data separate. No system is perfectly secure, and during the beta you should keep your own copies of important information.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time and will update the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means.
